The San Rocco di Paduli Club, Inc. was founded in 1988 by immigrants from Paduli di Benevento living in and around the city of Adelaide, South Australia. Its objectives, as described in its Constitution (see below) include, among others,
raising funds for the benefit of needy members of the community,
promoting the spiritual and physical well being of its members,
promoting and supporting the intellectual and cultural interests and pursuits of its members, and
promoting and facilitating interaction between all members of the community in South Australia and persons of Italian origin or descent.
The Club has a governing Committee consisting currently of 13 members (see Excel document below listing names, responsibilities and contact information for the Committee Members). Recently the Committee, headed by President Claude Pronol, reached out to its fellow Padulesi in America by electing Alexander DeAngelis, currently of Hamilton, Virgina but who grew up in Oyster Bay, Long Island, as its USA Representative. | Il San Rocco di Paduli Club, Inc. si e' fondato nel anno 1988 dagli immigrati di Paduli di
Benevento abitanti dentro e circostante la citta' di Adelaide, Sud Australia. Negli obiettivi, come ricordati nella Cosituzione del Club (si trova laggiu), ci sono i seguenti:
- raccogliere fondi per il benessere dei membri
bisognosi della communita'
- promuovere per il benessere spirituale e fisico
dei propri soci
- promuovere e supportare gli interessi
intelletuali e culturali dei propri soci, e
- promuovere e faciltare legami tra in
soci e tutti italiani di Sud Australia.
Il Comitato Esecutivo del Club adesso ha tredici personi. I loro nomi, responsibilita' e numeri di telefoni si trova laggiu in Excel. Recentemente il Comitato Esecutivo e il Presidente Claude Pronol, hanno stesso la mano ai Padulesi in America per mezzo d'aver eletto Alexander DeAngelis di Hamilton, Virginia (ma chi e' cresciuto in Oyster Bay, Long Island) come membro del Comitato Esecutivo.
